Permanent Eyebrows Makeup in Progress

FAQ

  • What is Permanent Makeup? - Permanent makeup is a cosmetic form of tattooing that mimics the look of makeup, by implanting pigment into the skin through different techniques.

  • What is Microblading? - Microblading is one of the oldest forms of permanent makeup used to create eyebrow hair. The name comes from the tool used to create the individual hairlike strokes. The hair strokes are created by using a hand tool with a microblade at the tip. These blades come in different shapes. My favorite is the U shaped blade with 18 microblades. This service is great for people who have no previous work, normal to dry skin, and people who prefer the look of individual hairs.

  • What is Powder Brows? - Powder Brows is an eyebrow style that is created by using a tattoo style pen. The needles used in the machine allow us to create layers of pigment. The layers of pigment are created by implanting tiny pixels of pigment into the skin. This type of brow is great for people who have previous microblading work, darker skin tones, oily skin, or people who prefer the makeup look.

  • What is Combo Brows? - This type of brow is a combination of techniques (Microblading & Powder Brows). This type of brow is great for all of the above referenced skin types and offers a naturally full looking brow. This is my most requested type of brow service.

  • How long will my brows last? - The average life of permanent brows is between 1-3 years. However, the life of the brows is heavily dependent upon ones lifestyle choices. What does that mean? It means that an individual who is an avid runner, heavy lifter, or someone who frequently sun tans without sunscreen, or gets regular facial peels or microdermabrasion will likely need a touchup sooner than someone who doesn't do any of the above.
